Honeymoon Part II: Athens, Greece

Our second location for our honeymoon was Athens, Greece!

It was a very short trip and that ended up working perfectly for us. We felt a little rushed in our two day visit in Athens, but we also felt like we hit all the major touristy things. Athens was amazing and we both really enjoyed the history, culture, and food of the city!

An amazing authentic Greek lunch in the Plaka – a historical neighborhood of Athens with a market feel – For us, it was what you think Athens would look like

Another amazing meal! (This was my husband’s lunch which was not GF, mine (in the distance) was a salad version of his).

Temple of Hephaestus – the best preserved temple in Athens … it’s amazing! If you see anything in Athens, see this!

Our last night on our honeymoon. Dinner at the Plaka (we went to Athens for 2 days, Crete for 5, and flew back to Athens to catch our flight back to the US)
